The Staff Attorney will provide civil legal assistance to eligible clients in the St. Thomas office.
Skills Required
Be licensed to practice law in the USVI or any other US jurisdiction. A candidate who is not a regular member of the VI Bar may be admitted under the special admission rule when employed, but must take and pass the VI Bar within two (2) years of special admission.
Demonstrated ability to work with low income and/or disadvantaged persons.
A minimum of two (2) years public interest law practice, or related experience.
Be computer literate.
A high level of written and oral communication skills.
